Loose Tooth

Isaiah finally has a loose tooth!!! We were
cleaning up dinner and he
was standing at the mirror in the kitchen for
a long time. I asked him if he was
okay and if there was
food stuck in his teeth. He said yes,
he thought there was food
in his tooth.
I went over and took a look. Sure enough there was
a little wiggling tooth!!!! He was
so excited!

The sun was out and that makes it just warm enough
to head out and play in the parking lot. Isaiah got new shoes
today so the obvious thing to do is go
running. It is fun to watch the
boys race. Trey has such a huge stride, it takes
him like ten steps in the race, compared to
Isaiah's twenty-five steps.

Thanks Aunt Chelsea for the onesie!!!

Making sure she gets her vitamin D!!

This is what my "quiet" time consisted of this fine
evening, folding!

Saturday and Sunday

We found out Friday evening that we
for sure have to move out of our home. We had some
hope that we might get
to stay, but we were way off. So the
search begins to find
a place to call "home".

We had a quiet weekend. Joseph has a
12 page paper due Tuesday so
we stuck close to home. Also researching places to move
requires lots of time on the computer.

Trey had a great time at his party. He got
4 hours of sleep but it was not during the night time
hours! When we arrived to
pick him up at 11am he was sleeping.

This afternoon we went for a walk
over to campus. The sun was so warm but the breeze
was chilly. I forgot to take pictures, I bet they would go great on
this blog page. Nice. It is so great to
be able to get outside. Yesterday Isaiah said
he was sick of it being snowy
for 1,000 days. I agree.

"LATE NIGHT!!!!"

Hazel slept so much today. She even went 4
hours between feedings. Usually
she is right on time
every 3 hours. We did run errands and I
know she sleeps well
in her car seat. Very helpful when
we have a number
of places to go.
She is such a good girl. We are sooo blessed with
wonderful children.

Cookies for the late night. Some
for Trey's party and
some for us!!!!! Partly selfish, I
love cookies and ice
cold milk!

Trey is blessed to be a part of the youth
group at our church. It is a
wonderful program. They are
very active in planning things for the kids to
do together. Tonight is a guys all nighter!
He was way excited. Trey
finally has friends his own age. When
we dropped him off
they had 4 projection screens set up for
video games and watching
basketball. We pick him
up at 11 tomorrow.

Isaiah got a new board game at
Unique today. He was
excited for his late night
on his own. It is
nice for the boys to
have a break from each other
every once in a while!
He has been loving anything
Pokemon. The game is part
board game and
part dvd. Joseph, Isaiah, & I played it and
as always Joseph won.

One month already

Today Hazel is one month old.
Time passes so quickly. I feel like we just brought
her home. The first pic is of Hazel getting ready
to leave the hospital. The second pic is of
her today.
Trey changed his first diaper this afternoon!!! It was even
a poopy diaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He did a great job, until she started to
pee. He didn't have the new
diaper under her yet. Thank goodness I always
have a changing pad down. He was
discouraged but I just laughed and told him it happens
all the time. I also told him "don't think
this gets you out of changing her again!!"
This evening Isaiah's face
started to swell. It has happened before and we have
taken him to the dr. They don't know what
causes the swelling but it is very
painful. We will be getting a second
opinion prayerfully next week.
If you look right where his jaw meets his ear you
can see it. The first time it happened
he looked deformed
it was so swollen. The dr did say to give him
ibuprofen for the swelling and pain. Once that has a
chance to kick in the swelling
goes away. By bed time he was
back to normal. Jumping from couch to couch
in typical Isaiah fashion!!

Snow

The snow came as promised! I even heard
thunder at about 4:30am.
Trey's boss called him at about 9am to see
what time he could come over and
clear his sidewalks. T headed over at about 10:30. All
of the snow in the pic is fresh today. He
sent Joseph a picture message of the snow he
needed to move and said "see you at midnight!"
It really didn't take him that long, maybe
hour?? I think we got about 4 inches.
Isaiah's bible lesson was on
the story of Joseph and his coat of many
colors. I cut him a "coat" out of a brown paper bag. Then
he was to color the coat.
He is very good at choosing colors and being
creative. Isaiah asked me
to color with him, so I did the
sleeves.
Hazel has started this new thing with
her blankets. When she is tired and ready for a nap
she loves to have the blanket over her face.
Dangerous, I know. So as you can see
we always have to make sure there is a hole for her to
breathe out of.

Random

Here are some random pics. The bath pics are from
tonight!! Hazel seems to really enjoy bath time.
I have been trying to do a bath each
night before bedtime. There is no
better smell than the smell of a fresh baby!!!
Yesterday we had dreams of going on a bike ride, but
we live in MN and it was raining/sleeting all
day. Maybe next week, snow is on it's
way back. Praise the Lord for
legos. Trey and Isaiah played for two
hours together. Solving their arguments
with out help. That is great progress.
